In the winter, the variety of lifts allow access to a staggering 650kms of pisted slopes, spanning 12 resorts in France and Switzerland. With a total of 215 lifts and around 60 mountain restaurants, you can take full advantage of what is one of the cheapest regional seven day lift passes.
Located in the North region of the Alps, the Portes du Soleil has enjoyed extended seasons over the past few years with conditions suitable for skiing from December through till the early part of May.

In the Summer, the region transforms into 450kms of mountain bike trails, downhill courses and hiking routes. With the majority of lifts being modified to carry mountain bikes and operating from June to September, you can explore this breathtaking area at your own leisure.
The River Dranse flows through St Jean d’Aulps, making its way from Morzine to Lac Leman and is renowned for hosting numerous water based activities - including white water rafting, kayaking, hydrospeeding and canyoning. The lake itself provides the perfect setting for water skiing, wind surfing and sailing or just a leisurely stroll.
In addition to the usual activities that are associated with mountain resorts, St Jean d’Aulps is centrally located to a host of other opportunities. Picturesque villages, such as the spa town of Evian and the medieval village of Yvoire, historic tours, vineyards and a championship golf course are all within a comfortable journey from the village.
